Care Assistant

The Role

The role includes personal care tasks such as toiletting, bathing, dressing/undressing, serving of meals and assistance with eating and drinking.  To help clients with mobility and other physical disabilities such as incontinence, help with practical tasks such as making and changing beds, tidying rooms, etc.  To participate in the planning of client care, to read and write reports in care notes.  Carers are involved in clients’ varied and enjoyable leisure activities, where necessary, and accompany them on trips out.

Shift Patterns

A mixture of late and early shifts will be required to complete a six week rolling rota fulfilling full or part time hours. Applicants should note the home is set in private parkland and is not on a bus route.
